Dispopharm Services GmbH (DSS) was founded in early 1994 in Basel by Ursula & André Schoepfer as equal partners.

The entrepreneurs lived as expatriates in Kinshasa, then Zaire, now the Democratic Republic of Congo, during the 1980s. André led the Pharma division of Ciba-Geigy and was a member of the management team of the local corporate entity "Société Zairo-Suisse de Produits Chimiques" (SZSPC).

Additionally, André was responsible for marketing Ciba-Geigy pharmaceuticals in Rwanda and Burundi, both countries located in Central Africa and under Belgian administration until the 1960s.

Over the last 30 years, the focus of Dispopharm Services has been on the development of companies that under the leadership of Ursula and André have operated as independent legal entities in the areas of development, registration, marketing, promotion, and distribution, and continue to do so to this day.
